Improved coat for both dogs
Even my picky eater wolfs this down. Bought it to improve the digestion of one of my pups. I think it has. But it has definitely improved both dogsā coats. Softer and shedding less.

Always repurchasing
My dogs love it. I’ve seen thousands of products. I’m always going to the pet fest and events. They’re always a new dog probiotics or gut health supplement product. I find myself always going back to this brand however.

pleased
This product may well deserve 5 stars, but I’ve had my dogs on this since they were puppies and were weened, and I’m not sure how they would be without it. I have a fiest, 2 years old, and a boxer, 1 and a half. I also give it to a large cat, but not on a regular basis. It does seem to help some of his digestive issues.I’ve fed them Chicken Soup since they were a year old, and Earthborn puppy food prior to that. I’ve always mixed the appropriate amount with a small amount of wet dogfood, and mixed that with the dry food.Whether it’s the Sea meal or the higher quality (relatively) food is hard to say, but the difference between my fiest and boxer and their siblings is very noticeable. They are both larger and leaner than the siblings, and have a MUCH nicer coat. The vet has told me that they are very healthy dogs, and while I’m sure the diet has made a large difference, I honestly believe this has contributed greatly. Now, let’s make sure to mention how long this lasts. I bought a 5lb container. WAY more than I needed. For 2 dogs and a large cat, this has lasted for over a year. I expect it would last, for my pets, around a year and a half. Fortunatly it doesn’t expire until 2016, so the shelf life, if accurate, is pretty great. I would only say that one would get the 5lb container only if they had a horse.

First time using the chews
I usually buy the powder, I assumed the chews would have more than the powder but push come to shove I do not believe the chews are better in any way other than convenience of the owner. I only get 40 days of supplement with this compared to 3 months with the powder option. My dog is 60 lbs, so 3 chews a day with a 120 count of chews. It just isnāt worth the purchase outside of convenience.

DON’T HESITATE! TRY IT!
I had to write this review because I am absolutely AMAZED how much of a difference this supplement has made in not only my 2 small dogs, but also my 5 cat’s health. Ive been giving it to them for over 6 weeks now. I didn’t expect the cats to even eat this but they apparently love it because they have started munching the dog’s food since I started using this. I free feed my dogs so always have a bowl of food out for them. The biggest changes I have noticed is #1, my almost 5 yr old chiweenie’s breath has improved DRAMATICALLY! I mean WOW! She has literally always had bad breath since I brought her home when she was about 6weeks. I’ve tried so many different products & foods & I didn’t even buy the Solid Gold SeaMeal for her breath, I simply bought it as a health supplement & noticed her breath has noticeably improved. I have also noticed super shiny fur on all 5 of the cats & 2 dogs along with a big decrease in shedding. I was amazed at what a great value this product is because such a teeny amount is required each day. I think I paid around $18 for this container & have only used about 1/25th of the container for all 7 pets in over 6 weeks. I can’t say enough good things about this stuff!

Success! Great for digestive issues and coat concerns.
This has been great for our pets in the two weeks we have been using it! We have a dog who has food allergies and probably related to that she is prone to big, mushy poos and general digestive issues, and a cat who was experiencing dandruff and excessive shedding. I was looking for products individually, but found this product which looked just perfect for both issues. It was also very affordable compared to other products for these issues. I am not saying this would necessarily help with food allergies, as our dog is on a separate supplement for that, but this has really firmed up her poos because of the enzymes in it. In fact her poos are the best I have ever seen from her, better than even more expensive enzymes and probiotics. Our cat’s dandruff has also cleared up and he doesn’t seem to be shedding in excess. I think this is a great supplement for general pet wellness, and I feel good knowing that in addition to good omega fats and enzymes they are also getting vitamins and minerals from the seaweed. Also neither pet seems to mine the taste at all.

My dogs love it
This is long but for good reason…I have two Great Danes and they LOVE this stuff. I started with salmon oil because my old roommate had a Blue Healer/Aus. Shepherd mix and he had absolutely horrible skin issues. That poor guy used to scratch all night (and day, it was just more noticeable and irritating at night š ). I looked up some treatments because Vets always want them to take some ridiculous pharmaceutical, and very expensive, stuff that never seems to work. The salmon oil did the trick and when I was looking it up I also saw some awesome reviews about the Solid Gold supplement. This came in super handy some years later when we moved and my male started having some awful skin issues himself. He was always dry but this was getting ridiculous. My younger female is healthy with absolutely beautiful skin and crazy soft fur.My male, as we found out, is super allergic to fleas. He does not respond well to any treatment, other than very strong prescription stuff. We got rid of the fleas and he continued to itch like CRAZY!!! This went on for over a month and it was maddening!! Not only was he driving us nuts but the poor guy was scratching his fur off. He was getting big bald patches all over the place. I was so worried about him I didn’t know what to do…then I remembered the Solid Gold. I immediately bought this product. It took a while, and a lot of Benedryl, but he is now in great shape. All of his hair grew back. He still occasionally has some dandruff but it is no where near as bad as before. As for my female, she is in even better shape because she eats the same thing he does and her coat is fabulous! They love this product!!! I have found that YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS. You cannot just be lazy and sprinkle it on and call it a day. I had a friend that was complaining saying her dog liked it but her cat was snubbing it…then I found out why. Once she followed the directions and used warm water (you only need a little bit) and stirred it it, they both couldn’t get enough. The same goes for my dogs. If my boyfriend feeds them he usually won’t go through the whole process and they very obviously don’t want to eat their food. If they see me get the green bottle its like I am about to give them crack and they can’t handle it. They will try to lick the bowl when just the Seameal and water are in there, before I can get the food mixed in lol! My dogs love this stuff more than the salmon oil and that is saying something. I recommend trying it (and following directions!). Please do be fair and give it time though. It is not going to happen over night.

love this stuff for my pups!
I always get comments about my dogs and how healthy their coats look and feel and I think that is in large part due to the Sea Meal. They have a fairly healthy diet and always have access to fresh water, etc so it’s probably not this product alone that is giving them such a pretty coat, but I feel strongly that it adds to it!I make frozen treats using plain nonfat Greek yogurt, pumpkin, peanut butter, and the Sea Meal – mix it all up in a big bowl and divide into ice trays for freezing. I also add a glucosamine/MSM chew to the top of the ones I give to the eldest. The dogs LOVE them (as soon as we come inside, they gather around the freezer, tails a-wag for their favorite treat, especially on hot days). They do this even when I also have store-bought treats or other home made treats like sweet potato jerky nearby; this is the one they want! This is one of those products I order as soon as I’m running low so I can always have it on hand. I am a firm believer that it contributes to their health and well being. It’s a bit expensive, admittedly. But, a little bit goes a long way. With three dogs dogs, I think I ordered the 1 lb size twice per year. Now that I’ve added two to the pack, I may be ordering thrice. Still, not too bad. If it will add to the longevity and quality of life of my beloveds, it’s worth every penny.

seems to work, but be sure to know when to stop
Was giving this to my dog in dose suggested on the label. After about 8 months noticed he was obsessively licking a spot on the upper part of his front leg until it was almost raw; guessed it was something he was ingesting so stopped this … eh voila the licking stopped within days. Whatever deficiency I’d been correcting for with the supplement apparently had been addressed during that period of use. Now I give him about a 1/4 dose 1x/week and no issues.

Seems to really work!!
I used this supplement for a few months starting when my Great Pyrenees was a young puppy. I didn’t re purchase when I used the bottle up, and instead bought a bottle of just prozyme digestive enzymes (which is an ingredient in Sealmeal) and used that. I thought if anything my pup was just benefitting from this enzymes in this formula because he was eating a super premium kibble (Orijen). But within a few weeks of no seal meal, my pup had skin issues, allergies, and a yeast infection on his skinā¦ I don’t know if it was coincidence or not. Im starting to think maybe it wasn’t. I already had him on vitamin E, fish oil, and other supplements for his skin, but I decided to repurchase this and have been using it for a month now… it really does seem to make a difference in his skin/coat/allergies!!I will definitely continue to use this supplement from now on! I do think its beneficial for any kibble diet because all kibble is cooked, which damages some important nutrients and amino acids. So supplementing with this seal meal is a way to make sure your dog is getting some extra nutrition that he might not get from his kibble. The bottle lasts me a few months using the suggested dosage for a dog around 75lbs. Which means this is quite reasonably priced. Especially if its keeping my from vet visits and various skin care products! Right now with my dog’s diet routine of Orijen dry food, salmon oil/ vitamin E, Solid Gold Sealmeal, and a good probiotic occasionally, he is really thriving. And he HARDLY SHEDS AT ALL!!!!!! This is a HUGE HUGE deal for me!! It is so nice to not see hair on my clothes or furniture or rugs! I brush him maybe once every 2 weeks for about 20 mins and I get a quarter size ball of fur off him at most. And his coat is so beautiful and shiny! Im sure the seal meal is not totally responsible for this, but i believe that its an important part of his overall health!

Works wonders on a dry coat!
My Aussie had a dry coat and skin issues. We started this product on all the dogs and in a short period of time, we noticed a huge difference in their coats. Recently, I was on vacation and they missed a week of supplement. I did not think a week off would matter. I noticed a difference in my Aussie the moment I returned. His coat felt dry and brittle again. I have been home a week and his coat feels wonderful again!! He has not had hot spots since I started this product either, which has saved me a $200 vet bill per trip, I highly recommend this product. The only downfall is the smell. The dogs don’t mind, but it does stink like seaweed.

Seems to be working
My dog actually has fuzz all over his back and tail. That hasn’t happened in a few years. He’s been taking it just a few weeks. He doesn’t like it much. We have to hide it in other food, then he accepts it.It’s a green powder, that’s very fine. It doesn’t stink, and it only takes a tiny bit twice a day to work.I have been finding that if I put it in a very fatty food, he seems to like it better and seems to feel better. His skin is very dry and I have noticed the fats helping him even before I started this – so my strategy is to put it in a bit of cheese or chicken skin, or a cooked egg.He is scratching a lot less and his skin is a lot healthier looking, and the fur IS coming back. At this rate it will take another month, but he has had these problems for years and nothing has worked this well. I also used Goodwinol ointment. He had a negative skin scraping but I thought I’d try to cover all the bases.

Worth it!
Been using this product for over 15yrs, I highly recommend it. Itās fully transformed every dog I have met thatās had a poor coat and bad skin. I still bathe, brush and groom daily with the addition of probiotics, quality food and use of other supplements for my dogs in addition to this additive. Takes about 3 weeks but itās night and day difference, the coat is fluffy, soft and healthy. The dander clears right up.Only downside, which canāt be controlled is if you have a picky eater. They may not like it.

Saved my dog’s digestive life!
Let me preface this by saying, our malinois’ digestive system has been messed up for 16 months. This happened as a direct result of a recalled batch of his food that i heard had actually killed several dogs. He sufferred from loose stool, horrible gas, and stomach pain. I was careful to choose a reputable kibble after that debacle, then I would entice him with one spoonful of canned and a splash of water for moisture. He ate, but still loose stool and gas. So I did my research and voila! After three days of poop-watch, his stool literally change size, form, and smell. The probiotics have transformed his gut, and he keeping weight on. I use about 1/4 of a teaspoon (half of the scoop that’s included) daily. I was extremely careful to observe and report my findings. It’s been 4 weeks and I’ve decided to give 5 stars š for saving our dog’s life.

Seems to work as advertised
I have an airedale/labrador mix who has pretty spectacular seasonal allergies. These tend to manifest in uncontrollable itching, scratching and biting. When his allergies are really bad, he’ll usually bite all the hair off his front legs, bite his groin and tail areas until it’s raw and bloody and scratch under his armpits and around his neck until they’re bloody also. He’s been on a fairly constant regimen of diphenhydramine, which is switched with an antihistamine/steroid combo when things are really bad.I’ve had him on a combination of Seameal and Missing Link for about 6 months and I’ve definitely noticed a difference. He’s been off diphenhydramine for about 4 months and I’ll just supplement this if he has an outbreak. I haven’t had to put him on any prescription meds since he’s been on the supplements. He’s only 3, so I’m very happy to have an alternative that doesn’t require him to be on steroids off and on for his entire life. He loves the taste of this and gobbles his food up. A huge improvement over battling with him to take 6-8 pills per day during allergy season.I haven’t noticed that it made the hair grow back any faster, but that it alleviated his need to scratch and bite in order to allow the hair to grow back. All in all, definitely a worthwile product and by far the best price I’ve seen (retails for $35 in pet stores).

Great for my furry friends coat and overall health
Solid Gold SeaMeal Multivitamin for Cats & Dogs is truly a remarkable product that has made a world of difference in the health and well-being of my furry companions. I couldn’t be happier with the results and the benefits it offers to both my cats and dogs.First and foremost, the use of kelp powder in this supplement is a game-changer. Kelp is known for its incredible nutritional value, and SeaMeal harnesses this power beautifully. My pets’ skin and coat have never looked better! Their fur is shinier, softer, and healthier, and I’ve even noticed a reduction in shedding, which is a big relief for me. It’s a clear testament to the Omega-3 fatty acids included in the formula, which contribute to healthier skin and coat. But it’s not just about external appearance; it’s also about their overall health. SeaMeal provides an excellent source of digestive enzymes and probiotics, which have improved their gut health and digestion. My pets used to have occasional tummy troubles, but with this supplement, those issues are a thing of the past. It’s been a real lifesaver for them, and I’m so grateful for the improved quality of life it has given them.Immune support is crucial for our beloved pets, and SeaMeal does an excellent job in this regard too. It contains a range of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that boost their immune system, keeping them strong and resilient. Knowing that I’m providing this level of care and support to my pets gives me great peace of mind.I also appreciate the quality and sourcing of ingredients in Solid Gold SeaMeal. It’s clear that they prioritize the well-being of our pets by using natural and high-quality ingredients. Plus, it’s incredibly easy to use ā just sprinkle it on their food, and they seem to love the taste, making it hassle-free to incorporate into their daily routine. In conclusion, Solid Gold SeaMeal Multivitamin for Cats & Dogs has been a fantastic addition to my pets’ diet. It offers comprehensive support for their skin, coat, digestion, and immune system, and I’ve seen a noticeable improvement in their health and happiness since starting this supplement. If you want the best for your furry family members, I highly recommend giving SeaMeal a try ā it’s a true testament to the saying, “You are what you eat.”

A Gift Of Better Health And Well Being For Your Best Friend
If you’re reading this review then chances are like myself your dog or dogs are in every way family and there’s nothing you won’t do to enhance the quality of both their health and lives. Gee it’s nice to be among my own kind!A long time fan of Solid Gold they were the first company to introduce an all natural line of dog food sourced from human grade ingredients. Decades ago I started to research commercial dog foods and the more I learned over the years the more appalled I became. Hence, I now make my own and have been tweaking my recipe for years. However, I still use Solid Gold’s “Hund – N- Flocken” as an added extra for crunch to my mix. Their line of foods are excellent and their SeaMeal supplement is no exception. In fact it is in my opinion, hands down the best supplement you can give to your best friend. As any architect will tell you – designing something simple is far more difficult then something complex and this truth is one of the key benefits of SeaMeal.Instead of throwing everything into the mix via shotgun, the choice of ingredients albeit slim compared to other products is quite brilliant in it’s simplicity and even more so in it’s benefit rich formulation. The first ingredient – seaweed, is really the shining star of the show. A powerhouse of clean protein and essential nutrients seaweed provides the following:*High protein content: from 20% in green algae to 70% in spirulina.*High mineral content, especially: iodine, calcium, iron, magnesium.*More vitamin C than oranges.*Natural iodine maintaining a healthy thyroid function.*Anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory properties*Large proportion of natural, organic iodine aiding in maintaining a healthy thyroid function*One of the richest plant sources of calcium.Other ingredients include:* Flax seed meal – another powerhouse of nutrients. While it’s not technically a grain, it has a similar vitamin and mineral profile to grains without the inherent problems.*Dried Lemon – A great source for vitamin C it also creates gastric balance and reduces stomach upset* Aspergillus – Is actually a mold it improves liver function and stabilizes blood sugar.*Polysaccharides: Aids in the prevention of degenerative disease such as cardiovascular and diabetes increase the amount of feel-good chemicals in the brain ( endorphins and Dopamine) Also improves liver function and helps to stabilize blood sugar.SeaMeal is an exquisite formulation and recipe for better health and a stronger more resilient immune system. We have two Old English Bulldogs an 8 year old and a 10 month old puppy since starting them on SeaMeal (they were both on Nupro) a few months ago we’ve seen some impressive results especially with Harley our oldest. Both their coats are gorgeous, Harley has had Alopecia his entire life which leaves the back of his hind legs practically bald. Over the years we’ve tried different therapies both prescription medications and homeopathic but to no avail. His bald spots have filled in quite nicely, his energy level has improved significantly as has his Pyoderma (swelling between the toes)Bulldogs are extremely prone to ear infections and these to seem to be significantly reduced in both frequency and severity since using SeaMeal.SeaMeal is without question an excellent supplement that provides significant benefits to your dogs health and well being – I would recommend it to anyone.

Update: Amazing results for malnourished cats and kittens and for older dogs with dry skin and age-related ailments. All of the cats we have rescued off our street have come with malnutrition, some at starvation levels, and some near death with viral infections needing isolation from others. As soon as they were stable I would begin adding small amounts of Sea Meal to their food. I like the meal form because it is easy to adjust the amounts needed. I have added the photos of four cats; two of the black cats (on the cat tree), one a tiny kitten, were quite literally close to death when we rescued them last Summer. Even our Vet wasn’t expecting miracles. We brought them home to die in our arms or survive with the love we administered with their meds. But they lived and thrived, and as soon as the kitten was weaned (we had a pet baby bottle for her) and the larger boy was recovering, we slowly introduced Sea Meal to their food. The other pic of the cat facing the door, shows the phenomenal gloss and coat health produced with Sea Meal. She has tons of energy now and the three black cats play until they suddenly stop for a nap. Additionally, we rescued a cat last Fall that tested positive for FIV. He was in terrible condition, but I immediately had him neutered to prevent mating with my one intact kitten. Most of his hair was missing. All of it from his tail. He has scars all over his head, neck and shoulders, he was bleeding with every bowel movement, and though he has all his teeth, every one of them is broken. After two days of hissing and growling at me, but also two square meales a day, he suddenly decided he loved me and he let me trim his nails. Again, my Vet was a big help. But it was trial and error finding foods that did not irritate his intestinal track. Six months later and 95% of bis hair has grown back and we have two months blood-free. I was finally able to add small amounts of Sea Meal to his food. The Chronic dandruff in his coat has disappeared, he is calmer and a real love bug. He has always gotten along well with the feral cats and lives with them. Also, a starving family of pink Ginger kittens and Mom received this effective suppliment (the runt of the litter pictured in the box) and all grew into beautiful, soft and Healthy cats, two of which are in an adoption program. There have been no problems with diarrhea This seems to be working on all the pets including one old Laborador X, but except for an elderly German Shepherd with, we think, liver enzyme issues. However, without it I think the Shepherd might try to eat the legs of the table and bits of rug. (Update: she eventually died of bladder cancer, but was otherwise healthy. We think the Sea Meal really helped her nutrition absorption and with the more balanced divestion she began to calm down. She was never in pain but the tumors were interfering with elimination and we lost her just two weeks ago. All the cats adored our beautiful Belle, and the black cats really miss her. I have recommended this product to the adopting humans of our rescues. Once a pet is healthy enough, Solid Gold gives a vibrant shine and good health to these poor lost and abandoned dogs and cats, making them beautiful and adoptable.

so far so good, nice addition to an already healthy diet & supplement routine, targets gut health
Just trying it out. I came across this while pricing out other vitamins and minerals. I think it will make nice addition to a an already good diet, and as an add on to their usual vitamins as this addresses the gut (which in turns addresses the immune system). I have 2 labs and 3 cats, and we have good food and good supplements. This doesn’t replace a wholesome diet, please be mindful of what it has and doesnt have for your animals individual needs. I bought this mostly to bridge the gap, and add extra appeal to their food (especially the cats– so picky). Worth the try. I also think if brand new to it, start low and slow so they get used to the new ingredients. This targets the gut…

Great product
This product works well with my dog and gives her all the vitamins she needs – it seems to have improved her skin quality because she is not itching as much as she did before she started taking it with her food. I add it to her wet dog food in the morning and my dog doesn’t notice that it has been added. This container lasts a while and comes with a small portion spoon for dosing it in food. Solid Gold has effective products and has reasonable prices for their products!

Actually got my cats to eat it! I will update in a month!
Let me start off by saying, I have 2 of the most picky cats on earth. They are 4 years old ( 5yrs next month), & finding a supplement these “Sister cats”- will willingly take is always a task, I do not look forward to, as their “furless human mommy”. They are very smart, extremely nosey (always watching your every move, especially when it comes to their food). I tried sprinkling this stuff over their dry food. They wasn’t having it! Barely touched their food entire day. One cat looked at me like, “I saw you put something in my food”. No lie, the cat meowed, I looked at her, & she cut her eyes at me.” Knowing I did something to their dry food, because it wasn’t the same. So, I began trying to figure out how, I’m going to outsmart these sisters, and get them to eat this stuff until I can see results, that the supplement is working?š¤ They’ve been on a “dry food” (only) diet for the past year. And I did notice the powder Sea stuff didn’t adhere/stick to the dry food at all, still my cats wouldn’t touch the dry food, no matter how hungry they were. They nibbled around it! But they clearly did not eat their dry food, as usual. Adding water was definitely NOT an option for me. The sisters NEVER liked their dry food moistened with water (at all). They like dry food dry, & wet food by itself. I spoiled them at one point in time (for a while) with both wet & dry food diet (not one or the other). So I decided to re-introduce “wet food” into their diet again, knowing cats love variety when it comes to food, I knew the sisters would welcome “wet food” back with open arms (I raised them from kittens, switching between dry and wet food often.) But not just any wet food. I introduced their FAVORITE wet food back into their diet. & that’s the way I got them to start taking this supplement! I add a little to their wet food, mix it around and serve them the food. They lack their bowls clean! Every time. As they get use to the taste, I will concentrate on actual measurements of the supplement, but for now- I add a little per serving (I fill the little scoop it comes with, a little under half full & add to small can of wet cat food & split it between the girls. So sometimes, We as Cat Owners have to outsmart our cats, because they are like children (while many dogs will eat just about anything you give to it), cats will look at the food/smell it, look at YOU, roll their eyes, & WILL walk away from the food all together, until it’s back to the way they like it (no supplement)! & If you take too long, to fix it back,, they will go on a food strike,, until it’s fixed (no supplement. Plain dry food.) The sisters hate taking medicine and vitamins. Even if it’s good for their health. Cats are built differently than dogs (I’ve owned both in my 45 years on earth). Dogs are very smart too,, but cats are real intelligent! Very smart! Tricky trying to outsmart a wise cats! Especially SPOILED house cats like my 2 fur babies. I will update this review in about a month, with new photos etc. On this product!

Helped my cat greatly
My cat has always had dry itchy spots with loss of fur. Vet could never figure it out. We live on acres and she goes in and out at will. Two weeks and her fur looks the best it has in a long time. When I pet her I no longer feel ādried sores for lack of better way to describeā. I see new fur growth. Will continue buying. She is a picky eater but ate her food fine with this sprinkled on.

Catsā fur is softer and they have a healthy appetite
I started making fresh cat food for my cats as I was wasting so much money on canned cat food that was only half eaten most of the time. My cats only ate their canned food when it was freshly opened. Anything they couldnāt finish, they would leave it for the rest of the day to dry and harden. I figured that they just werenāt a big fan of canned food. Iāve tried different brands as well to see if it was just a specific brand, but the results were the same. Scraping their bowls was just disgusting, annoying, and financially painful. When I started feeding them homemade food, they ate it up quickly. So, thatās what I did for a week, but I felt it wasnāt enough for them. I figured that cats need daily multivitamins to maintain their health, so I bought this to supplement their daily meals. For the past few months, Iāve noticed that their fur is a lot softer and theyāre a lot more energetic. Most of all, they finish their food every time! Iāve barely scratched the amount of product and thereās so much! Itās going to last my cats for a long time. Super happy with this product! Will definitely be repurchasing!

Want to love
This supplement however good it is, my girl just won’t touch any foods with it on it. I put less than the recommended amount and she will no longer be interested in her food. For the amount paid you’d think this would go rather fast, sadly no.Her commercial foods do have salmon oil and seaweed plus some options do include flaxseed.Maybe if I start making my own patĆ© for her and adding this plus other supplements she’ll like it more. Until then, my rating remains 3 of 5 stars.

1 Year Review With 3 Cats! Healthy, Happy Cats!
I wanted to try this product out for 1 year BEFORE reviewing it so that others reading this review would find it more helpful.I own 3 cats. Yeah I know. Borderline crazy. I want to feed my cats healthy food, or at the VERY LEAST make sure they get the proper nutrition. So I went out and continually bought them a moderately healthy dry food but wanted some sort of animal vitamin for them to fill in any gaps. I tried 2 types of vitamins. The first was a chew-able vitamin that came quite costly to feed to 3 cats, twice a day. The second was this, Solid Gold Supplements Seameal Powder, which I could combine right in their food! The chew-able vitamin worked pretty well, however, one cat would continually NOT eat the vitamin and this was AFTER I combined the vitamin with a soft cat treat. Due to the fact that these were costly and had difficulty feeding them to my cat, I decided on option 2.The powder is awesome. That’s probably the best way to summarize my experience with it. When I first got it, I decided to add a little water into the bowl with the dry food, and this worked VERY WELL. Later however I decided to start feeding my cats 50/50 soft and hard food, and mixing the powder right in was SO EASY!What have I noticed with my cats since starting these vitamins? COMBINED WITH A PROPER DIET, my heavy cat that weighed 15 lbs, is down about 5 lb’s and is VERY VERY active for his age and weight. This ALONE makes this product, in my opinion, AMAZING. Besides that, all the cats have MUCH HEALTHIER COATS and look fantastic! To summarize : This is a low cost, QUALITY product, that all 3 of my cats love and have NO digestion issues with. Combined with a proper diet, they maintain a healthy weight and have wonderful coats! If you own cats, you should try this!

High Quality Supplement, Both Cats and Dog Like It!
I was a bit skeptical about adding a kelp-based supplement to my animals’ diets, but I knew the unique nutrients provided by the seaweed along with the extra omega-3 fatty acids provided by this blend would be beneficial in the long run, particularly for my oldest cat, who is struggling with intestinal cancer and associated digestive problems.Much to my surprise, all 3 of my cats and even my dog appear to like it! I simply add it to their wet and dry foods, splitting the total daily dose between the 2 meals they are given each day. So far, not a single complaint from the animals. In fact, the cats will even eat the powder straight, without mixing it into their food first! After only a week on the kelp-based supplement, combined with a small daily dose of krill oil, my oldest cat has returned to having nearly normal looking and smelling bowel movements. She passes everything much more easily now and is no longer regurgitating her food like she has for the past several months. As a result, she is finally eating more, her coat feels nicer, and she appears to be maintaining weight for the most part. All in all, I’m glad to have found what is clearly a high quality product that provides the nutritional benefits it claims. Plus, a little goes a long way, making it a great value! I definitely recommended this supplement to anyone looking to boost the health of their cat or dog!

It’s GREAT for CATS!
I first saw this item at a pet store as I was looking for supplements for my cats. I have a senior cat who has been struggling with cat acne and dandruff. Since adding this to her food, her acne has improved and not as red as they used to. Of course I also use Chlorhexidine wipes but even her dandruff has decreased and I see improvement in her coat. I also give this to my 2 kittens who are just about to be 1 and their coats look great. All 3 don’t seem to mind the taste at all and I mix this in with both wet and dry food and they just blend in. I will continue to purchase!

Great all around!
I want to start off by saying firstly, I feed my australian shepherd a RAW/BARF diet.(RAW MEAT)She has been doing wonderful on the raw diet. I’ve had her on it for about 2 months. However, she was missing certain nutrients from her diet since it is up to THE PAWRENT to provide those key nutrients, since different meats and organs benefit the furbaby in different ways, providing their own natural source of vitamins and minerals. And I am limited to the different types of raw meat she can have because of the area we reside in so I had to look for other sources for her to get the goodies. I researched and found this product online. Went to different places (Chewy/Petsmart/Petco = $25) and Amazon had the cheapest price, $16. Not bad. It arrived in one piece within 2 days. Upon opening, I found that it has this cute little spoon for measurement purposes and it gives you directions on the back of the product as to how much you should give your dog according to weight. I forgot The product smells slightly Fishy/Earthy and a hint of raisinsšššš.Anyway, I already use Salmon Oil & Coconut Oil in her meals so I took one scoop of this good stuff and mixed it in with those. BOOM. She finished it off with the QUICKNESS. It’s like that was the seasoning she was missing all along haha. She loved it. I’ve had her on it for about 2 weeks & I’ve noticed she doesn’t fart as much and her droppings are not as hard plus her fur is waaayyyyy shinier it’s incredible. That’s an A+ in my book! I highly recommend. When she gets low I’ll definitely be buying more. Thanks!
