My dog loves these!
These were recommended by our Vet for my 65lb Pitt Bull. She loves them & thinks they are a treat. 1 a day per the vet & they really do help keep her teeth clean. Make sure you get the right size for your dog’s weight. I was getting a size smaller than she needed and she would just gobble them up. The point is to have them chew on them to help the teeth & gums. When I started buying the correct size, my dog ate them slower and chewed on them. These aren’t exactly cheap, but worth it when it saves on teeth cleaning at the vet & also helps your dog’s oral health.

Stomach issues
My 5 year old greyhound couldn’t tolerate these chews even though they did a great job on her teeth. They caused diarrhea even giving every other day with a probiotic. The good news is that the manufacturer was easy to deal with and is issuing a refund. I was just sorry that the chews weren’t the right product for my companion.

Dogs do happy dance when it’s treat time
My dogs love these dental treats. We have them go to their kennels to chew them. Every time they see or hear us open the bag, they run to their kennels and tippy tap in anticipation.I like that I can be proactive about their dental hygiene without brushing their teeth (though admittedly I should be doing that too). They aren’t as affective for my smaller dog because he will not chew them as well before swallowing them. I still give them to him because his breath has improved and the buildup of tartar has not seemed to increase.

My dog looks forward to these every night!
i want my dog to continue to have these but I simply refuse to pay for a bag of 30 but only get 28. These are expensive and I deserve to get what I paid for. I have another bag coming and I am going to count them to make sure there are 30. I will return if not!

Breath like heaven
My dog is my best friend but his breath smells like a dumpster full of fish on the coals of hell. Since he started these last month, his breath now smells like angels from heaven. Just kidding, but in all seriousness his breath is 1000x better than before.

Better than I thought !
I’ve been using Ovavet for 4 months now and it’s amazing! I subscribed to receiving it monthly for my dogs because they love it so much ! It makes a complete difference in their breath. It helps keep their teeth nice and white . It’s been one of my favorite products to buy for my three dogs . They gobbled them down so they must taste good, I’ll take their word for it .

Our dog loved these chews…really loved them. But when we told her they had basically doubled the price she said I don’t like them that much. So we are in the process of changing brands…really sorry for that…but Lola ain’t stupid.

Really Helps Breath
If you give your doggo one of these a day it REALLY helps with their breath, they’re better than anything else I’ve tried!Only 4 stars though because they’re freaking expensive! Over $1/treat is pretty pricey. I don’t buy them all of the time because of the price but if they were cheaper I definitely would.

Best dental chew!
These may be as little more expensive than other brands but so worth it! They actually help your dogs breath besides cleaning the teeth. Every time we go to the vet they also say my dogs teeth look great (and I don’t brush them as often as I should) so I attest the cleanliness to these sticks!!!

Vet recommended
My vet recommended these for my dog when he wasn’t chewing rawhides any more so his teeth were getting tartar buildup. They work like magic and every morning he is so excited to get his “toothbrush” and chew it. They’re harder than soft treats, but not as chewy as a bone or rawhide. His breath improved almost immediately and it’s been over a year and his teeth and gums are healthy. Expensive, but worth it.

Works SOOO FastI!
I bought a bag of these after they were recommended by my vet for my 3 year old Doodle’s teeth. I was concerned to see the tartar had really started to build up around the tops of some of his teeth and his breath was becoming slightly bad. After just 2 weeks, of giving him 1 daily, the tartar is almost completely gone! He’s had zero stomach issues and he goes crazy every night waiting for me to open the individually wrapped bone package. They are a little pricey, but worth every penny…… No bad breath now and soon his teeth will be perfect again. Thanks ORAVET!

Expensive but seem to help with dog’s dental hygiene
I have a rescue dog estimated to be between 2 and 3 years old. His front teeth are chipped and some tips broken off. Have consulted 2 vets and both say the damage to his teeth is not serious and manageable. Both said the damage was probably due to the dog trying to chew his way out of some sort of cage or confinement. One vet recommended OraVet Chews because my dog doesn’t tolerate brushing and frankly brushing his teeth daily is not something I am likely to keep up with. The product releases a chemical like the mouth rinse recommended by my dentist to protect my teeth. After one month use, I can see my dog’s teeth look cleaner. My dog really likes the OraVet chews. I give one at bedtime so it can coat his teeth, gums, etc. and work overnight without being disturbed by food or water. It’s the last thing he gets each day. I watch him eat it because I do have concerns about him trying to swallow a chunk and potential problems. But so far he enjoys chewing it. Several people reported their dog’s stools turned green and some reported they were more liquid than firm. I pick up his stools when walking him and cleaning the back yard ands stools are firm and not green. Not that it matters what color they are since I don’t have any problems with “accidents” in the house. For me, the major downside to OraVet chews is that they are very expensive. They seems to be the only product of that type, so for now consumers have no alternative. I am hopeful someone will come up with a competing alternative that is priced more consumer friendly. I have read where price is driving some to cut the chews up to extend the number of days use and some just giving them every other day. Cutting them in half may be an option that I will look at, because my dog does not swallow chunks and chews them up relatively slowly. The package says the dog needs to take about 1 1/2 minute to chew in order for sufficient chemical exposure to coat his teeth, etc. I timed my dog chewing a chew cut in half and it was very close to 1 1/4 min. So that may work, but regardless I don’t want to short change my dog on the dental benefits. Besides being expensive, dog dental problems can have very serious consequences to the dogs health, and my dog already has chipped teeth. So I’ll spend the money for my dogs health, but look for alternatives that are more reasonable in price.

Expensive but highly highly recommend
I stopped using these for my boys and what a mistake. These dental are the best ever. It’s more of a proactive to another words. It helps prevent dental plaque bacteria gingivitis all of the above. I would recommend if your dog already has dental issues for them to get a thorough cleaning and then uses product but you can use this product if they already have issues. It’ll just take longer and this stuff is amazing!!

They work!!
My dog knows these “treats” as a “breath bone” and every time I ask him if he wants a “breath bone” he comes sprinting. I have a chocolate lab that is on a salmon based diet so he probably has the worst breath a dog can have and one of these a day works great to keep his bad breath away!

Little Smelly to Us, but our pup LOVES it
Amazing dental chew! Our pup loves these chews. Also it seems to really help his breath more than dentastix and actually helps keep his teeth clean. He used to have some minor pocketing, but after 6 months of this chew, when we had him rechecked, the pocketing was gone and his teeth were better.

One of the best canine products.
I have two German Shepherds. I give them each one Oravet every night, and they love it. If Oravet made small bite sized treats, I bet I could teach my dogs any trick. I’ve been using these for about five years and the vet tells me at the yearly visit how beautiful the dogs’ teeth are. Even with the GI issues my dogs have, these have no adverse effect on their health. No tarter buildup, no bad breath, I’d recommend these for most dogs.

Does the Job and Smells Good Too!
This toothpaste does what it’s supposed to do. I have an older dog with a little more tartar build up then the younger dog. This toothpaste works but does take some extra time and consistency with the older one. The Vanilla Mint flavor smells great and the dogs don’t mind it. If your pup has bad breath and you haven’t been keeping up on it, start now and with this, you won’t be disappointed.

3 stars bc maybe your dog isn’t a dumba** Treat Goblin™ will swallow whole
Bought these to try with my 65ish lb hound mutt hoping they’d be less likely to be inhaled (as has happened in the past with dental chews). The biggest size (for 50+ lbs doggos) are still quite small: only about 3x1x½ inches. I reluctantly gave it a try. Watched him like a hawk so he wouldn’t choke. He seemed to be chewing! At about 58 seconds I looked away for a moment, and when I looked back he was cleaning his paws and it was nowhere in sight 🙄If you’ve got a lovable but incredibly dumb and treat-obsessed dog, DO NOT expect these to clean teeth. Dogs with this vibe will just cram them down their throat as soon as they get a handle on how to do so.Good news is I called the vet immediately and they said it should “move through” with “no issues,” but I’m assuming that means no issues to my dog’s health; still waiting to see if there are ramifications for my carpet’s health as this giant lump moves through his digestive tract.Probably fine for a pupper with a modicum of self-control.You know your dog. I should have known my own dog better myself. You’ve been warned. Now I’ve got another expensive bag of dental chews with one missing that I have to figure out what to do with.

Phenomenal dental health!
We have 4 young dogs who have the most perfect dental health! After trying (without success) many other dental care items to maintain our pups teeth and gums, these dental chews are by far the best product we have used. No mess and they love them! We get compliments and “good marks” at every ver check-up. Highly recommend. Do not waste your money or time with the toothbrushes and toothpaste, absolutely get these instead.

Works great, dog loves it
Smell is pretty mild despite what some reviews might say, and works really quick to remove the smell from my dog’s breath. Firmness also seems to be just right to encourage chewing and ensuring all teeth get some coverage.Only downsides would have to be price and the bright green color you will see in your dog’s next poop (though no other noticeable digestive issues)

It’s really hard to believe how well and how fast these work
Our 4 yr old black Lab had some tartar and staining. She doesn’t tolerate brushing very well and the vet suggested trying OraVet chews, so we did. The results are amazing; stains are disappearing within two weeks and overall hygiene is remarkable. When she smiles, it’s white. The results are so good I dropped by the vet’s office to say “Thank you”. The enzymatic action really works. One note: we live amongst avocados and thought the dog had started eating them again (she quit them last year) but no, the green tint in her effluent is from the OraVet. No stomach issues though . . . just a benign ’70’s coloration. “Nothing to get in a twist about”.

Excellent product
Dog LOVES them. I get a large size for my medium sized dog. I cut them in half and put the pieces in a Kong so my dog really has to work at chewing. Otherwise he tends to put his power nozzle in and swallow everything while which defeats the purpose of the product. Keeps plaque down so we don’t have to brush and scrape as frequently.

It’s been one week and the plaque is just flaking off
It’s hard to believe it’s actually working so quickly. My dog has genetically terrible teeth that hold a lot of plaque and atrocious breath. We’ve been doing expensive dental cleanings every two years only to have the plaque come back just as bad within 6 months. Teeth brushing has never been an option for us because my dog is very sensitive and easily makes negative associations, so teeth brushing very quickly becomes traumatic for him. It’s been one week and the plaque is just flaking off. This might be life changing for us! It’s also improving his breath significantly.
