Every All-absorb training pad consists of 5 layers of materials. The first layer is made of non-woven cloth, which allows dog urine flow through to the absorbent core quickly. The second layer is made of paper tissue, added with dog attractant and baking soda. The third layer is a mix of super-absorbent polymer and fluff pulp, which forms the absorbent core that can absorb and turn dog urine to gel instantly. The absorbent core can hold 3 cups of liquid. The fourth layer is also made of paper tissue. The back layer is made of water-proof PE film, which prevents wetting your floor.

    Works great! Absorbs great

My little fur baby is paralyzed and his back to legs. Unfortunately, he has no control of his bladder. It’s always leaking. I have tried several male wraps from disposable to washable. These are the best I have ever tried. I’ve been using these for probably a year now, and I love them! They fit great they don’t rub his sides, absorb nicely. They have no odor, ( Of course, when you take it off, you smell the urine), I just love this product. I can’t seem good about it! If you need a Mail wrap, this is the one to purchase! So worth the price!

Great Protection of Floors – Easy Cleanup

I have been using these for over 8 years now and they work great for my little 3.8lb toy poodle. He’s 7 years old but I leave one of these down in and area of the house for him in case I’m late getting home or the weather is really bad and neither one of us wants to go out in it. I’m fortunate that he is dually potty-trained and will use this in the house or go outside during our walks. They do not leak through and they hold up well.

    Nope!

Did not like this brand and did not provide odor control.I like the Four Paws brand of wee wee pad compared to the many other brands I have tried. I have been using them for years but with prices going up on everything, wee wee pad prices are no exception and the Four Paws brand has had a lot of price fluctuation in the last 5 years.I use wee wee pads daily for my pup who is indoor potty-trained so I set out to try to reduce my costs. I researched the best brands on the internet and after narrowing down the list to six brands which included the Solimo/Amazon Brand, Deep Deer, Bulldogology, AKC, Simple Solutions, and Honey Care and compared them all to Four Paws pricing. I also looked at number of layers, type of materials used, odor control, border width, quilting and lastly, I looked at reviewers comments and ratings for performance and quality. From this, I decided to test the Amazon Brand Solimo, Simple Soulutions and Honey Care which were all within the same competitive priced point and all priced lower than Four Paws brand. These all had mixed reviews online so I wanted to test them for myself. So I ordered 100 pk of each brand and compared them side by side for 2 months.Overall, the Solimo Amazon Brand performed better than the other two but one thing that stood out with all three is that they did not control urine odor well and that was with a daily change of any soiled pad. We would past the room and caught a whiff of urine. I never experienced that issue with the Four Paws brand. With that said and for a few cents more, I decided to continue to purchase the Four Paws brand. However, in my effort to reduce cost, I no longer buy the XL size which is typically 3x the price of the standard size pads. So now I use four overlapping pads and change them as needed instead of 2 XL large pads. It also works out better because sometimes I would have to change out the XL pads but it’s only used on one side bc my pup would soil the pad too much in the same spot which is very typical. Even though I’m using 4 pads now with the standard size, I can change one out and typically the other 3 will last sometimes for multiple days depending on where she soiled the paper but I still have enough floor coverage for when she poops. So if you’re looking for a wee wee pad at a lower price point, I would recommend the Solimo Amazon Brand pads as the runner-up. Take note that there are two Amazon Brand wee wee pads offered online, the other is cheaply made and not a good absorbent pad so look for Solimo. However, the best overall and still budget friendly wee wee pad for everyday use and for just a few cents more, go with the standard size Four Paws brand and very specifically look for the “Superior Performance” pad. There are differences in the number of layers and absorption within the Four Paws brand. These others include pads with Febreze and charcoal for odor control which don’t work. There is also the Insta-Rise Borders that also don’t work and the “Super Absorbent” pad which is not that super. So stick with the Four Paws Superior Performance which is the only 6 layer pad. The Four Paws with Febreze is expensive and even though it has 7 layers (the 7th being the Febreze liner), I don’t think it’s worth it price tag especially when many reviewers say that it didn’t live up to the odor control it claimed.

    Truly leak proof!

I have a new puppy! I have tried at least 5 different brands of puppy pads that claim to be leak proof but are not. I finally found these Honey Care pads and they are far superior to all the others I’ve tried. They don’t leak at all! The liquid is turned into gel instantly, and the top layer dries quickly so there’s no wet puppy paw prints on the floor. I’ve done the research, and the trial and error. Trust me, you should give these a go!

Best pet pads I’ve tried so far!

I’ve been on a mission to finding the BEST pet training pads. I’ve tried these, along with 2 other brands and these by far have been the winner. My ONLY con (which has nothing to do with the actual product), is that they don’t sell the bigger sizes in a 100ct option. But that’s a very minor issue, compared to the actual quality of the product.

    They did the job

I’m only giving this 4 stars because unfortunately the potty pads would still leak through. They did the job but also left a mess. I had to start getting bigger ones that actually soak up more and don’t leave the pee smell.

These are the BEST pads I have been able to find. I have tried several other brands & Always come back to these. Others are SO thin you might as well be using nothing. This brand is just the BEST! Nice size! No leaks! No double padding! They just do what their suppose too. Highly Recommend!

    Poorly packaged

The pads themselves work well. The package has them folded up with the edges of 2 opposite sides folded towards the back. This has to be unfolded and straightened so that the edges of the pad itself have a border. Otherwise if the dog goes too close to the edge it will leak to the underside. Even after straightening them out they will try and fold backwards when you put them down or if they are disturbed by the dog walking over them. I was still having to mop the floor underneath. I have 4 dogs and these are put down when we have to leave them home and at night.

Didn’t attract my pup, but worked for another dog who uses pads.

I purchased these for my 10wks old lab puppy who can already go outside, but sometimes has pee accidents inside the house. I was hoping by reading other reviews that this pad would attract her to go on it. She does not acknowledge it at all. I put some of her pee on it hoping that would help, but that didn’t work either. Then I put another dogs pee on it along with her pee thinking maybe she would get territorial or something but that also did nothing. I took her to play time with a 1 year old Chihuahua/pug mix who has been trained to go on potty pads which are another brand. I put these down for that dog and it of course had no problem going on it because it was used to using potty pads. However, it seemed to only work when placed in the specific spot it was used to relieving itself. When I placed one in another area where I gave them extra room to play, she peed on the rug also and not the pad. Maybe that is because she saw my pup do it? They are new friends and were having top dog battles the whole playtime so I am sure peeing came into play.Since my pup won’t go on these I have been using them to help absorb the mess. I put these over the rug and step onto it and it absorbs up the liquid a lot easier than paper towel or a rag. And then my hand doesn’t haven’t to touch wet rag pee because it is plastic on the back. Then I go over with cleaner of course. I gave this a good review because I don’t see the problem being the product, the problem is training issues or individual dog personalities. There isn’t some miracle scent in here to attract your dog to go. But if you can train your dog to pee on newspaper, than this should work for your dog as well and appears to absorb nicely. Good luck!

    Why did they change?

We have used these for years for our Shih Tzu and loved them. Starting with our last order, the blue trim around the outside of each pad is tucked under when the pad is spread out. To prevent urine from spilling off the edge, we have to fold the trim back where it should be. It may not sound like a big deal, but it is! Folding back the trim on four sides, times the number of pads we put out can take a long time. And our elderly dog gets stressed seeing us do this because she knows it means we’re leaving. I tried calling the company. No luck. Why do good products always end up changing and why do the changes always make the product worse? (I hardly ever leave bad reviews, but I’m frustrated.)

good pads but sometimes leak a litlle

They are good puppy pads but sometimes when i pick up the pads they are wet underneath. I dont think they are leaking per say but i think the urine is going over the sides. I use these for ferrets so there is a very good chance they are backing up to the very edge before using the bathroom :)!

I was thrilled to see that the urine DID NOT leak through to the floor. It held it inside the pad. These are by far the BEST PEE PEE PADS I’ve ever used. I’m totally happy and thrilled with th. I’d encourage anyone who needs to use pads to purchase these. They wii be as happy as I am. Thanks for a fantastic product!

    Pleasantly surprised.

I generally purchase Nature’s Miracle pads, but decided to give these a go after reading such positive reviews. I must say I was not disappointed. Mostly, these are at a better price point compared to Nature’s Miracle. I did not have any leak through or spill over, though my dog is quite accustomed to using pads and is not picky. They do have a blue liner backing whereas Nature’s Miracle brand has a creamy color. I did not prefer this as it causes my eyes to be drawn to the pad more often, but really.. zero amount of a big deal.I found that these pads absorbed odor quite well compared to the Nature’s Miracle. These are unscented pads -normally I purchase scented- so I was surprised that I didn’t notice a smell. For reference, I have a 10lb chiweenie and I change the pad daily- however if you allow a pad to become urine soaked over say 3-4 days, there is simply no pad that is going to hide that. I change it daily because my dog will pick one spot on the pad and use it over and over, simulating the same affect as 3-4 day old pad with numerous areas. It should also be noted that the lining edge is NOT as wide as the Nature’s Miracle. There is very little liner space between the edge of the pad and the absorbent material. I actually did not mind this at all as my dog generally favors using closer to the edge of pads and I always worried about spill over. These were also slightly smaller (I think by an inch or two) overall than some of the other pads I have used, but it matters not for my dog.

    Works well for my cat

tl;dr version: This size pad is perfect for my 13-lb, arthritic, senior kitty that doesn’t cover his litter. Even though the pad is thin, pee has never soaked through the pad and the pad is great at absorbing pee and odor. My cat didn’t need a lot of encouragement to start using the pad. I replace the pad after he pees on it once since I’m not sure it would hold multiple pees. And the longer version:A little bit of background on my cat: He’s a 17.5 year-old, 13-lb persian mix that started having litter box issues within the past few months. He’s the only pet we have. He’s always been really picky about his litter box. He’ll only use it if it’s spotless (we try to scoop as soon as he pees/poops and have 3 litter boxes for one cat), he won’t use it if it has too much litter and he’s very picky about the location (I think he likes privacy?). He meows a lot after he has used the box to let us know to clean it. Oh, and he *never* covers his poop.Recently, he started peeing and pooping on various throw rugs on the lower level of our house if the litter box, even if the box on that level was clean. I didn’t want to keep washing rugs, so I turned to these pee pads for a solution. The pad itself is not 22 x 23 inches of absorbent material. There is a non-absorbent border around the pad that brings the dimensions up to 22×23. Lame. And the pad is so thin! I was nervous, so I double-layered the pads when I put them down.I put the pads in an area where the litter box had previously lived and shifted the litter box over a bit. And that’s pretty much all I did when introducing the cat to the pee pad. He started using it after a couple of days.He seems to prefer pooping on the pad to pooping in the box. This is fine with me since now I just flush the poop. He has peed on the pad a few times, but I’d say he’s 50/50 on using the box to pee vs. the pad. Despite the thinness, the top pad has never leaked through to the lower pad. And the pad is great at absorbing pee and odor! Once the pee gets absorbed, I can’t smell anything. It’s awesome. I do replace the pad after he pees on it once. I can’t smell anything, but am slightly disgusted by looking at a used pad. Also, I’m not sure the pad would hold two pees.I think the pads could be an issue if your cat covers his poop, because the pad might get ripped up during the covering process. But if you have an older cat with litter box issues, I highly recommend these pads.

Works for one dog, not the other

I bought these for my little dog who, like most little dogs, can’t go for long without peeing. Meh.Sometimes, sometimes not He’s not very interested preferring instead to search for any thing that might be lying or sitting on the floor to pee on.Old age has gotten to my older dog who was always perfectly housebroken until recently. He has decided he likes these. A lot. Every morning when I get up, the very first thing I do is take the dogs out. Out of bed and out the door. I started noticing my big dog would run to where his day bed is, beside which I’ve placed a pad. He runs to pee on the pad then runs back to the door to join me and the little dog on our trip outside where he pees some more.My big dogs pees buckets. I’m not kidding. These do a really good job of sopping it up. When I pick them up to throw them away, they are really heavy. I know if I squeezed them just a little a flood would hit the floor. I have a pad near another door that is never used and placed a pad there too. I sometimes forget to check it. He pees there and if he pees on it several times the back can get damp. These were the little ones for smaller dogs. My next order will be a larger size.

Not as good as they used to be.

These used to be great pads worthy of a five-star rating. I have used them for my elderly dogs over the years, and they always worked well. However, my last order, placed in early March, was a total disappointment. They are flimsy and not as padded as the old ones. It’s like comparing a paper towel (old) to a tissue (new).

  43. I have used your pads in the past they were great. But I purchased some as as what I used. I find these are leaking through the pad have you changed your product?

    Worked Really Well

First time trying these. They work very well. We dont use them for training pads. They are for when my dog cannot go outside because its night or the weather. They are very absorbant.

Gets the job done, but not as well as some others.

I bought these because the price was a bit lower than other brands, but I won’t buy them again. The quality is at best, meh. They are less thick than other brands and the plastic border had to be manually expanded when you set them down. Part of border doesn’t just shake out from the side automatically. My little dog can pee a river sometimes and when he does, these pads don’t quite keep up. The underside of the pad occasionally gets a little damp. Not quite what I wanted. I’ll spend a few extra dollars next time.

They have helped termendously while in the training period with our puppy…

We got a new puppy in November and have tried a couple of different brands of pads.. I’m not sure one attracts them to it more than another, but I will say that these tend to lay flat better than some of the others we’ve used.. Some brands are so soft, our puppy tends to get them all bunched up just moving too fast on them.. These are absorbant (course, she’s a puppy, she isn’t peeing as much as an adult dog would) and the few times her poo was loose, the pad is plenty thick to absorb it all. We have a puppy play pen for her attached to a potty crate. We lay pads under the blanket in the playpen to protect the floor and then a pad in her potty pen for her to use when we don’t get her outside in time.. It’s worked out well. If she has an accident in her playpen, the pads catch it all and she does go in her potty pen when she needs to. She’s not going elsewhere in the house and 90% of the time, goes outside now, so I think these training pads have been a big part of that.. Worth the price. You get a lot for less than $20.. I bought our box in early December, it’s now 1/22 and we still have the bottom row of pads to go.. We also took a bunch of these on vacation with us, laid them in front of the cat box (we travel with 2 cats and 2 dogs), and if she had to go in the hotel, she used the pad.. Can’t complain about this purchase in the least.

    Dog refuses to use them

My dog is already potty trained to go outside, but I needed him to be able to use these in airport bathrooms etc. where there aren’t outside spaces. He refused to use them, and ended up not peeing for 18 hours even though I offered him these 6 times.

    Pee pee pads

This were great! Very absorbent and thicker than most I’ve bought before.

    Great Pads!

I have been buying pad like these for years for my yorkie and Maltese and these are by far the best ones yet! They never leak through on the edge like most pads do!

    AWESOME PADS!!!

I love these pads!!! My biggest beef with doggy potty pads is that they stick together like Velcro when I try to open them to lay them on the floor. These are the first ones I’ve found that don’t do that!

    Indoor Pom- great product. 🙂

I have a Pomeranian- he is now 5 months old. He came to me at 8 weeks. As a seasoned Pom owner- I knew housebreaking could be tough- I had hoped to “maybe” litter train as a “potential” option… well, this time I read about eight books before my puppy came- SPECIFIC to poms and tiny dogs. I found out that puppies go potty on whatever substrate they were born on/ last on (duh, makes sense…just didn’t think of it!) so- I used these pads (as a liner) in a large, low litter box with “newspaper pellets” as litter (unscented, just recycled paper)- figuring that my puppy was probably with mommy on newspaper at the breeder. Yup. I brought him in the door, showed him the litterbox (like a cat) lol. I had a box in each room initially. He used the boxes immediately. We eventually cut down boxes as he got bigger, then cut down on litter, now he has two boxes downstairs and just a pad on the floor upstairs. He just has litterboxes downstairs with pads in them. (no litter) we got rid of the litter in about 6 weeks. He has no issues with the pads. I think they smell enough like paper, that it’s no problem. Also- traveling- wow. So easy. Bring some pads. Put them on the floor. Easy. In the car? Put a pad on the floor in the back. (in case, mostly, he’s gonna wait for a stop- they don’t like messing about in a moving car) but having a Pom trained for indoors takes all the stress out of a companion dog totally. My baby has never had one single accident. Ever. And I do layer these, like 3- but for me, not him. I just pull the top one off as I’m walking by and then layer them up. They work GREAT!!!! I guess a box of 100 lasts about 5 weeks. But I change them every time he goes. 🙂

    Best I’ve found

I buy these repeatedly for my 2 teacup Maltese. They work better than any brand we’ve brought home and we’ve tried so many for something like 20 years now of owning teacup malteses. When you use most pads, the pee splays out and their feet touch it. This one it stays as compact as it can. So it lasts longer too. So many worse ones are priced in this range too. None of them stop side spillage if the pup pees too close to the side, but these do a really good job trying to stop it so I have much less of a mess to clean up. The pee doesn’t soak through the bottom like so many do too. My dogs mostly go inside so I had to find the best I could. Buy these and if you pay attention to how it’s working compared to others, you won’t regret it. If the price goes up because of my review I’m adding a bad review lmao The price point is fine and already more than many.

Won’t get the same product quality each time

I have purchase these every 3-5 months and now a days you don’t know if you will get the good quality thick pads or the flimsy ripping the inside pads. The issue i have had recently and even with the most current order from October is that the blue edges get stuck to the middle part and then when I try to separate it, it pulls on the middle absorbing part and rips the cover. Or when I shake put the pad before putting it down the absorbing part is floating allover the middle

THESE PAD WORK – NO P RYNNING AT ALL

After the first pads that ran like crazy and leaked underneath to floor I bought these!!So much better as pee puddle only grows approx inch or 2 and it dries up unlike the ones where dog tracks it after 1 use. Just check sizing as it was smaller than i thought. But may be my mistake. Still for the cost and 100 pieces I SAY YES! PS my dog is a 3 month old frenchy. Not a huge pup nor tiny one. So medium sized pupper. Pad is pale blue plastic with white P pad area.

    Lower In Quality Than Before

These are still the best pads I’ve used regarding absorbtion. but the blue border has gotten super cheap in quality. Used to be a nice heavier duty soft material, now it’s paper thin garbage and only one longer side folds out nicely, the opposite side stays crimped up.

    Great for older dogs too

I have a older dog that is on a water pill for her heart and I need these for her and they work great. This is a great buy, size and bundle. However I have to double them up to catch all her urine as I work 10 hour days and she is inside while I’m working.
