Piggy’s Fav Hay
Our 3 Guinea pigs have tried so many brands of hay but this is the one that is their favorite and seems to be the best quality! Sometimes we will forget to order and buy from Walmart and hate the in store brands!!! It’s so much more WORTH it to buy this brand and stock pile it at the house since they eat it daily. Best quality and price! Must have for healthy piggies!

My gerbils love it!
I actually purchased this for my Syrian hamster, but he didn’t really care for it. Luckily, my two gerbils absolutely love it! They enjoy chewing on the Timothy hay so it’s a win for me. I give them a little less than a handful every day and I still have a lot left. Definitely a big bag even for two gerbils.

Tasty!
We just got two guinea pigs, so this is the first kind of hay we’ve fed them. They love it! It’s also a great value!

Guinea pig isn’t interested
My daughter’s guinea pig gobbles up Timothy hay, but for some reason won’t eat this brand. It looks and smells like other brands I have purchased. I’m not a guinea pig, so no telling why she is snubbing this hay.

Tastiest Hay for Guinea pIgs
My Guinea Pig grew up on Kaytee Hay and it is the only hay he likes to eat. I have tried other brands but this is his favorite. Especially the Wafer Cut. So much less mess.

Fresh Timothy, our chinchillas love it!
Happy to see the bag of Kaytee Timothy Hay was green and fresh. Little amount of dust on the bottom of bag, but not bad at all. The chinchillas consumed a fistful quickly showing me they liked it otherwise they would have just ate their pellets/treats. Recommended with 2 thumbs up!

Not happy
I bought a small bag of this hay and it was fine so I decided to get a large bag. It was awful. All stuck together and a bunch of junky looking brown weed like stuff in it. I don’t think I’ll buy it again.

Well, it’s hay
What can I say, it’s hay. The guinea pigs likes it and eats it. The wafer cut makes it easy to lift off a layer to feed him. I like it better than the non-wafer cut and those bags would always end up with so much mashed up hay at the bottom of the bag. This stays more uniform.I did mark 4 stars because sometimes we’ll get a bag where some of it feels almost hollow, not the nice flat hay, and the guinea pig will not eat those pieces of it so it can get pretty wasteful.

Quality Seems to Be Getting Worse
We’ve always been buying this brand of hay from Amazon. But lately we’ve been noticing that the quality of the hay seems to be getting worse. A lot of brown hay mixed into the bag or the hay is not being stored properly at the warehouses. Our GPs won’t eat the hay at all. The top layer of hay is usually good but once you get down a few layers towards the middle of the bag the hay is brown and looks almost rotten. So far I’ve noticed this in the last two bags we’ve purchased through Amazon. The same brand bag we bought at the pet store was absolutely fine.

Great Quality and Sustainable Product
I have been buying Kaytee Wafer Cut All Natural Timothy Hay for my rabbit for over a year now, and I have been very happy with it. My rabbit loves the taste of the hay, and it is easy for him to eat.I have bought this hay 16 times in total, and I have never been disappointed with the quality. The hay is always fresh and green, and it is free of any debris or dust. I also appreciate that the hay is packed in a resealable bag (twist tie), which helps to keep it fresh.Overall, I highly recommend Kaytee Wafer Cut All Natural Timothy Hay to anyone who has a rabbit. It is a high-quality hay that is sure to please your furry friend.

Bank for your buck
I love this product! It has lasted longer than the other bags of hay I get at the pet store. I am not wasting so much cuz my furry baby will only eat the fluffy stuff. The whole thing gets eaten and he loves it!

Dusty, but does the job.
I have a picky rabbit, but he seems to like the wafer cut and the hay. However, his little nose gets so green after eating, because it’s so dusty and it makes him sneeze a lot. I was committed for a few months, but today I switched brands. The previous orders were just brown hay and dust. After sifting and picking out the green hay, I barely had enough to feed him for one day. I tried to like this cut and the brand, but it just wasn’t working out order after order.

Not My Piggies Favorite
I liked that this hay smelled extremely fresh as soon as I opened the box it was in. I felt like that was a good sign.I didn’t like that it became very dusty so quickly. We generally do not buy the wafer cut for our pig and we buy the bigger bag but it has been out of stock. This almost immediately started feeling dry and dusty. My guinea pig does not wheek for it like she does the other stuff. We always buy only Timothy Hay but this just missed the mark.

It’ll do in a pinch
I have picky guinea pigs. They only like this one brand of hay from this one store. Everything else, they will only eat bits and pieces and most of the hay goes to waste. I was hoping that since this one was wafer cut, like their preferred hay, that they would like it. Hay was easy to get out of the bag and smelled great, but it was kind of straggly and a lot of it was brown. Will try it again if I have trouble finding their preferred hay since it was better than what I can get at local stores.

My guinea pig doesn’t eat this hay well.
This hay was very big for my guinea pig. The guinea pig didn’t eat even half of what I gave it. The pig picked out small pieces of hay.

Not as “fresh” as other brands
The media could not be loaded.
Forgive me: I’m not environmentally sound when I say the fuzzy/flowery pieces correctly known as the TIP of the Timothy Hay that my guinea pigs love are far and few between in this brand AND there’s a lot of brown strands compared to another brand I purchase at Walmart and tractor supply. I believe Kaytee could do a bit better! There’s an excess of waste around his critter home that’s not eaten compared to other brands that provide more tips and less brown wasteful strands…I had on subscription, skipped and tried again- switching to another brand forsure.

Easy to pull apart & nice hay
My bunny loves this hay. I like that it’s so easy to separate and take out of the bag, as opposed to other types that are impossible to take out with spilling half of the hay all over the floor. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I find it to be rather dusty which can be a little bit messy.

Rabbit loved it but…
with it being wafer cut it is really messy not like stringy type hay so if that is what you are looking for then it is good hay. My Rabbit Loved it but too much of a mess for me to clean up.

Guinea piggy and bunbun love it!
I buy this all the time for my piggy and bunbun. I was buying their brand of non-cut stuff and it would come with hard sticks and pointy stuff and they only wanted to eat the lil fuzzy things and not the actual hay. So I tried “wafer cut” hay. Boy is this better! They eat everything now! Recommend.

Check product before you feed.
We use this brand all the time and like it. That said, this order the hay was stale, even looked like it had been wet at one time. Our rabbit went off feeding for a week and a big Vet visit later he’s just getting back to normal. My bad for not realizing what hay in that condition can do so please, always check your product!

Grass was little too dry in my opinion.
Got this for our bunny and he loves eating these. Decided to order here since it was more expensive in the local pet supermarkets for the same quantity. These are well priced however we felt hay is a little more dry compared to other ones that we have tried in the past.

Not my favorite
This hay is fine. When I need it, it’s affordable and gets here quickly. The bag is small enough to fit in a cabinet. The cuttings are small, which means that tiny pieces of hay get everywhere no matter how carefully I handle it. The guinea pigs seem to like it, though they don’t seem to go through it as fast as they do with other brands.

BECAREFUL!
BECAREFUL! Some Hay bags are really good but there’s a few I have found large sticks and rope, that would be very dangerous if my rabbit would have try to eat it.
