Good quality and good size for my 78 lb dog
I’ve been using these for a while now and I’ve been happy with them. To give you some context, I have an active 78 pound border collie greyhound mix who gets 3 cups of a good quality dog food (1 cup 3 times a day) plus a dental chew, so he leaves 3 to 4 deposits a day. One of these bags can easily hold two of his deposits (good quality food means less input which means less output) and still have plenty of room leftover to tie off the top. Of course, your mileage may vary.I don’t use a dispenser. Instead I pre separate the bags so I can just grab one or two as I’m heading out the door. I do it this way because 1) I feel it works better to use two hands holding onto each side of the perforation when separating (I’ve lost some hand strength and it’s a lot easier with both hands, plus I haven’t had a single one of these bags tear in the wrong place doing it that way), 2) I live in Minnesota, and gloves and/or cold weather in the winter can make it more challenging to separate the bags while outside, and 3) my hands are pretty full with leash, ball, and dog, and it’s a lot simpler to just pull a pre separated bag out of my pocket (I usually pre open them, too).Even when picking up from fresh snow, when it’s not possible to completely avoid picking up some of the snow as well, I haven’t had any trouble with leakage. I’ve reordered these several times at this point, and actually have them set up in the subscribe and save program to be sure I always have them on hand.

Handles from the smallest to the largest….loads?
We have four dogs….they range from 4 pounds to 108 pounds. This bag holds all their waste without breaking. I used to buy Amazon basic bags and they come FULL of holes. We switched over to this about 6 months ago and I am extremely happy with them.Nice, over sized bags handle even the big dogs dooty with no problem. They are nice and thick. We will 100% only be buying this brand from now on. I highly recommend them.

Bag Formula Changed: UPDATE
I wanted to update my review because Earth Rated reached out for a conversation. I found their response realistic and honest. It resonated with what I hear about composting, and I’m pretty sure a lot of folks are like me . . . I’m not going to run a separate compost just for dog waste. I’ve tried it before and I simply couldn’t get it to work . . . and the poop isn’t going into my regular compost . . . so landfill it is.Earth Rated Response Below—————————————-While I have you here, I wanted to confirm that no, our bags aren’t biodegradable.When we developed our first bags, we included an additive that was designed to help the bag break down more efficiently and quickly in the right conditions. Today, we know that bags like ours are typically disposed of in the trash and end up in landfills, where the conditions needed for a bag to break down may not exist. As a certified B Corp, we’re committed to combing innovation with responsibility when updating our products. We’ve now shifted our focus from what we can’t control (where our bags end up) to what we can control (the materials we use).Our new generation of bags are made from 65% certified post-consumer recycled plastic which allows us to give a second life to more than 5 million pounds (2.2 million kg) of landfill-bound plastic per year. Best Bag Ever
These bags are great. I love the smell as they cover up the smell of the dog poop in the bag. They are easy to use and don’t tear when picking up poop in gravel or rocky areas. Most other bags I have double bag because they are so thin. These are a good thickness and fit well in my pocket.

Good value
I never thought I’d be writing a review on poop bags but I’ve really come to appreciate these bags. They come with a lot of bags in one roll and have never had any issues with tears. I recently bought some bags from a “trendy” brand and there were only 10 bags in each roll and for some reason had an expiration date? Those made me appreciate these even more.

These are our go to doggie bags. I love how it is an eco-friendly company but does not give up on quality. The bags have a nice thickness to them and they are a large size, which is great for our big dogs with heavy waste.

Durable
These bags are very durable. We have a 100 lb lab mix and a lot of other poop bags we’ve tried either couldn’t hold all his poop or the bags would break. These never break or leak! They’re big enough to hold a poop session, but small enough to fit in a standard bag holder.

These are great
I like that they have a soft lavender scent, and there’s a sticker when you reach the 3 bag left mark so you know when you need to replace it and aren’t caught off guard. There’s also a lot of rolls in the box so I like that too. And I like the biodegradable aspect!

I use these doggie bags every day! Do I need them to smell like lavender, No, BUT I love that they do!! Also, I like the little sticker on them when you are down to 3 bags. I’m a dog walker and I have the best smelling bags in the trash!👍🏻

Compostable
We use these to pick up after our large dog. My favorite thing is that they are compostable. I prefer the unscented because the scented ones are a bit strong smelling to me. I am happy that the bags rarely have one side opened. I noticed that another brand I had tried, it seemed that too many of the bags weren’t made right so were actually opened. I do t have that problem with these.

These are great!
My husband and I love these poop bags. For starters, even though our dog poops A LOT, these have lasted us a couple of months. We purchase the pack of 270 bags. We really like how affordable they are too. They are indeed leak proof, easy to open (we’ve purchased some brands that felt almost impossible to open), and the lavender smells so good. Great bags
I’ve bought a lot of poop bags over the years. While I’m not I agree with the “earth rated” name, as they are only 65% recycled plastic and are still plastic bags, they work wonderfully. I tried these out because my favorite bags, made with compostable corn, were out of stock/not sure when they’ll come back for my S&S order. So I ordered these. They do everything you want from a bag, and more! They tear easily from each other, they open easily (a frequent fail point for poop bags), they’re thick, sturdy, and large (no accidentally touching poop while using the bag to pick it up). They don’t smell and they don’t leave any residue on your hands (my beloved corn ones do). Perhaps the best feature of all is the little sticker warning you that you have just 3 bags left on the roll. Why does no other company have this sticker?! It’s genius. Anyway, overall, a good pick, although not the best from an environmental point of view, there are certainly worse choices out there.

Reliable and Eco Friendly
I have been using these bags for more than a year and they are by far the best dog waste bags I have used. I bought Earth Rated Dog Poop Bags since they are 65% certified post-consumer recycled plastic and I like the company is a B Corp.I purchased the unscented box. The bags are 100% leakproof, durable and thickness keeps hands clean. The inside core is cardboard that can be recycled. Each roll fits nicely into a dog bone-shaped bag dispenser or my Sassy Woof bag holder. It is easy to tear perforated bag off the roll. Dark green color hides contents. Yellow sticker tells you when there are 3 bags left on the roll which is smart and appreciated. Good value.

I never thought I’d be writing a review on doggy poop bags but here we are – that’s how good these are! You can tell these were made by dog owners. Here’s the main things you need to know:1) These are THICK – thank goodness!2) The lavender smell definitely helps mask the awful poop smell!3) And this is where I could really tell a dog owner created these… when you get down to the final 3 bags on a roll there is a sticker saying “3 bags remaining” or something like that which is SO helpful and just a really nice touch!I’ve already bought this a 2nd time and will continue buying!!

Look No More
These doggy bags are hands down the best possible bags you will find. I used to purchase the Target brand dog bags and, while they’re not terrible, they don’t hold a candle to these bad boys. These are super thick and durable. I have bought multiple boxes of these Earth Rated brand bags and I still have yet to find one with a tear in it. If you’re searching for a bag that doesn’t make it feel like you’re picking up your dog’s poop with your bare hands, I promise you, it’s these. Even on days where my dog hasn’t felt well and their poop has been pretty soft, I don’t cringe at the thought of having to try to pick it up because I KNOW these bags are going to hold up and protect my hand from sensing more than I’d like. Don’t even look at other brands. If you’re questioning whether or not to buy these, just get them. They’re worth every penny!Also, if you like lavender I highly suggest getting the lavender scented ones! Not overbearing or ridiculously strong. Nice and light to help kill some of the nasty scent your furry friend left behind!** Note: for my final photo I put 5, yes FIVE, Honest Kids juice pouches inside just to give you an idea of how much they hold AND how durable they are!

Holds that poop
These are great bags. They are not too thin or thick. They don’t get holes and are big enough. I like the notice on the roll that there a 3 more bags left. I have used both unscented and lavender. I like the unscented because every time I smelled the lavender bags they reminded me of dog poop even though they were empty – but that’s just me.

The BEST poo poo bags!
I have been buying these for several years. Nothing else comes close to comparing to these bags. I love that they are recycled and that they are earth friendly. There is nothing worse than your fingernails tearing through a bag when you’re picking up the Doodoo. It won’t happen with these bags.

Ease of use.
Opening is simple…at the E as in earth side.Have used these for years. Easy to begin a roll and there is a small sticker on a bag that alerts to just 3 left. I have read complaints of the “scent” (of the scented) and would rather smell that than ANY thing else. It’s a momentary whiff, people.No complaints ~ have on auto ship, every three (or can postpone if needed) months.

Great bags
I don’t know how eco friendly these are, but they’re my go to. They’re thick so im not worried about them ripping. Other bags are terribly thin and I’m always afraid I’m going to end up with poop on my hands. I buy these religiously because I don’t have to worry. I’m still cautious just in case but I’ve only ever had one bag rip and I saw it before anything happened.

So far these bags have been great. They’re sturdy with no ripping or leaking, the opening is wide enough to fit a cat scooper. They’re allegedly biodegradable which I sincerely hope is the case. I highly recommend them

Love the bags, they are strong and big enough to keep your hand clean no matter how big the mess. The rolls the right size to fit in container on lease. They even give you a warming there is only 3 bags left, in case it’s a 2 bag load. You are never left with a surprise of needing another bag.

These bags are fantastic!! Must have for every dog owner ! I have 2 Pit Bulls and they love their walks which means lots of picking up after them. Easy open bags

These really hold some poo!
I’d add an image, but wouldn’t want to inadvertently cause someone to lose their appetite. We have 2 weimeraners, each ~75 lbs, and they require a large, sturdy sack to clean up after. We’ve found these bag sufficient to clean up some of the biggest dropped loads, if you will.They even open up with ease, ready to pick up and go. You can’t go wrong with these poo bags.

Refill stickers
We have used this brand for years. They are large enough to double tie the bag for a medium sized dog. The best improvement is a sticker on the third to last bag, as a visual reminder to refill soon. The stickers are especially helpful there are multiple leashes.

Much better than others
